Sisko was seemingly saved by the Prophets while Dukat was presumed dead. The book is set at the tail end of Voyager’s time in the Delta Quadrant, 2378, three years since Sisko and Gul Dukat were swallowed up by a fire pit on Bajor. Commander Data on a new ship called the USS Theseus He’ll be joined by The Next Generation stars Dr. Benjamin Sisko is being brought back to Star Trek with the first issue of IDW’s new line of Trek comics, and he’s not coming alone. IDW has re-numbered the Star Trek comic series, effectively ending the last line of stories and replacing it with a new #1 but an old face. Star Trek is launching a new Star Trek series but is it a sequel to Deep Space Nine?
